Tame Riverbank Repair & Improvement, Part 2
Last November I wrote about my ideas for repairing and enhancing the riverbanks as a way to improve the beauty of the Vale. Following the floods in January this year the riverbank around the corner beside the viaduct has been washed down and threatens the future of the viaduct and the amenity of the park. Now that the COVID crisis is beginning to ease I propose to dust off my proposals for the Council and prepare to put some work into funding, designing and implementing the whole plan for the park. Watch his presentation and decide if you’d like to join in. And don’t forget to tell all your friends.

Had brief discussion with Network Rail this morning about the dangerous erosion at the foot of the viaduct and their plans for a temporary repair with stone blocks. I’d just drawn up my own basic sketch for something similar to the repair on the other side of the viaduct and the river.
